Beautiful memories, would love to come back! ☺Choosing this place was the best decision! You are completely surrounded by nature, have access to the beach. Calm surroundings, not many cars pass by. Fresh air, mountain views, midnight sun, a terrace to have your morning coffee with amazing views. The house is decorated beautifully, very cosy and most importantly, you'll find anything you need for cooking in the kitchen. Bring binoculars! It was interesting to observe nature and birds with those. We had a chance to meet the owners - kind, welcoming, helpful people ☺️ ☹Have in mind you might need to purchase water for drinking or cooking from a shop. Geweldig fijn huis dat met smaak is ingericht. De ontvangst was hartelijk. De omgeving is heerlijk. Lekker rustig aan het water. Vanuit het huis hebben we zeearenden gezien en zeehonden. De berg Hoven beklimmen die achter het huis ligt is aan te raden. Het huis is schoon en ingericht op alle gemakken. Lillevik is a charming place with a classic Lofoten house with stylish interior and great views both from the inside as well as the outside Gimsøya is a quiet place and good for relaxing. It is also the perfect base for discovering the rest of Lofoten placed in the middle of the Island group. Gimsøya itself is also great for activities like hiking, fishing, swimming, bicycling and horseback-riding - or watching the sunset or aurora borealis We will hopefully return and can warmly recommend Lillevik

A large, warm, very comfortable house where you immediately feel at ease. And what a magnificent view! Our youngest daughter, 7 years old, said as soon as we arrived : "wow, the giant TV !" speaking of the view from the many windows in the living room, what a reward for us !! Thanks to Martine and Christian for letting us enjoy this superbly renovated house. Thank you for the book detailing the work, the workbook which explains everything for the house, and gives us lots of advice for enjoying the region, the very warm wood stove in the evening (you can buy everything you need at the grocery store a few kilometers away), the necessary to make the waffles ... Our 5 night stay was excellent. The hosts have gone out of their way to provide any information you could ever want about the house, the appliances, things to do in the area, grocery store locations, etc. They have gone above and beyond to provide guests with a once in a lifetime experience. When it was raining, they proactively messaged me suggesting things we could do and even gave us access to their private boathouse if we wanted to sit outside while having a shelter overhead. Everything was so clean, and we had what we needed in the kitchen to make simple meals every night. There are blackout curtains that work great when the sun is out all night. Thank you for a fantastic stay in such a beautiful place.

Impressive place and location! The house and amenities are impeccable, as well as the location and view. It is small yet very spacious, 4 bedrooms, big dining table, great living room space and beautiful views, basement, mud room and the table outside are a plus. Will come back on the next occasion. Everything is well documented and they provide amazing trip suggestions.

A true home in Lofoten Islands! Warm beautiful house. Wide panorama windows, cosy furniture and fireplace, great kitchen. The amazing scenery can be enjoyed right from the sofa.

The best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Excellent, modern, renovated house for 2-8 people. Fantastic view to the sea and to the north for the Aurora. Lovely living and dining room with a fireplace. Good adjustable heating. Internet connection is fast enough for movie streaming. Well equipped kitchen. Modern washing machine and dryer in the basement. Will definitely stay here again!
